Not examined out of frame. The canvas is not lined. Minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges. Light surface soiling and craquelure throughout. An approx. 1 in. thin abrasion at the upper center. An approx. 5 in. thin vertical scratch extending from the lower edge and an approx. 4 in. thin horizontal scratch at center left. Examined under ultraviolet light. The canvas presents with a milky green varnish. With short strokes of inpainting, including a larger area of inpainting to the figure's apron.
